Server 2008 R2 Administration
Overview
This course is aimed at IT professionals who want to learn how to manage accounts and resources, maintain server resources, monitor server performance, and safeguard data in a Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and R2 environment. This course covers the core skills required by anyone working with Windows Server 2008 Servers. It forms a key part of our IT Professional apprenticeship programme. On completion delegates are expected to be able to implement, configure, manage and troubleshooting Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) in Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 environments.
Delivery
This course is run over four intensive, instructor led days followed by a substantial period of work based, home based and learning centre based learning and exercises designed to consolidate and apply the knowledge gained.
